Staff Accountant
The Opportunity
All Hands Ecology, an innovative North San Francisco Bay Area stewardship, conservation science, and education organization, is hiring a Staff Accountant. This full-time position could be on-site at our Stinson Beach or Glen Ellen offices, remote, or a hybrid arrangement combining both on-site and remote work. The salary range is $74,000–$89,000, depending on skills and experience.

Purpose
The Staff Accountant supports the financial health and integrity of the organization. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reporting and compliance, and contributing to smooth accounting processes. Working closely with the Controller and other team members, the Staff Accountant ensures timely and transparent financial management across departments.
This mid-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with 2–5 years of accounting experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow within a mission-driven nonprofit organization.
All Hands Ecology is currently in an exciting expansion phase, having adopted a new 5-year strategic plan and added key initiatives, board members, and staff. The Staff Accountant will provide essential support to our growing organization.
