All Hands Ecology (formerly Audubon Canyon Ranch) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit land-based conservation organization founded in 1962 to protect sensitive wildlife habitat. Today we are guardians of a system of nature preserves spanning 5,000 acres across Marin and Sonoma counties. Through the integration of education, science, and stewardship, our 50+ staff work with communities and partners to ensure Northern California’s biodiversity endures through research, land stewardship, and mentorship for new generations of conservationists. 

Operations & Systems Coordinator

All Hands Ecology is seeking an Operations & Systems Coordinator to play a key role in advancing the mission of our dynamic conservation organization that collaboratively stewards 5,000 acres of protected land and supports environmental education, community engagement, and conservation science. This work is rooted in healing our relationships with the land and each other, and it depends on strong internal systems, thoughtful coordination, and shared responsibility. 

Working with a team of 50 staff, this position provides vital administrative and systems support across Human Resources, IT, Operations, and Programs. The Coordinator supports the people, programs, and processes that make collaborative land stewardship possible while also helping create and improve systems that strengthen the organization’s effectiveness and resilience into the future. 

This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and a high degree of confidentiality in managing sensitive information. The ideal candidate is collaborative, resourceful, and committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) as core values in both workplace culture and environmental stewardship.

Location: The position is based in Glen Ellen, California – not a remote or hybrid position. 

Schedule: 80%-time with a schedule of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
