Kira is passionate about the intersection between humans and the environment, particularly through the lens of building resilience for both. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Anthropology and a master’s degree in Risk Analysis, Disasters, and Resilience. Her academic and professional work centers on understanding how environmental and social systems interact, and how thoughtful, proactive strategies can strengthen both.

Kira believes that building resilient systems to support the environment can have transformative benefits for human communities. As Operations and Systems Coordinator at All Hands Ecology, she brings a systems-oriented mindset to her work, strengthening the behind-the-scenes structures that enable conservation efforts to thrive. She is deeply committed to developing processes that are collaborative, adaptive, and grounded in care for both people and place.

She believes that when environmental systems are restored and supported, communities become stronger, more resilient, and more connected to the natural world.
