Keyra's aim with the Prescribed Fire Apprenticeship is to build skills in prescribed fire, fuels work, and field operations. Through the program, Keyra will help with burn prep, fireline work, and burn days while learning about fire ecology and safe fire practices. Keyra is drawn to the role fire plays in healthy landscapes and looks forward to growing in this field.
