All Hands Ecology invites members at the Watershed Sentinel-level and above to Cypress Grove Preserve for a half-day kayak tour on Tomales Bay.

Lunch and kayaks provided. Experienced and new kayakers (ages 12+) comfortable on the water are welcome.

As summer settles over Tomales Bay, we will explore our dynamic coastal ecosystems from the water. Guided by Education Partnerships Coordinator and marine ecologist Vini Souza and expert kayaking guides from Point Reyes Adventure Co., we’ll discover how eelgrass meadows, tidal marshes, marine animals and birds, and people are all connected in this living landscape.

Along the way, we’ll look for signs of wildlife, glide over vibrant eelgrass beds, and dive into the science and partnerships helping coastal communities adapt to a changing climate.
