Capture the magic of our annual wildflower bloom on this interactive walk, all levels are encouraged to attend.

Connect with the beauty of the natural world through a wildflower walk and photography workshop at Bouverie Preserve. This event will be both a technical workshop on iPhone photography and an invitation to slow down and experience the springtime blooms on the preserve.

All Hands Ecology staff will provide a space and guidance for looking more deeply at the natural world — sharing their perspectives on how photographing nature can deepen affinity with nature through mindfulness, listening, and being open to the living world. There will be technical tips for achieving great photos on an iPhone as well as suggestions for achieving similar results on other types of smart phones and point and shoot digital cameras. The workshop includes a short walk around the preserve to appreciate and photograph the wildflowers in bloom.

Make sure your phone is fully charged, dress for the weather, pack a lunch/snack and plenty of water.

Workshop facilitators:
Erika Lutz, Public Information Coordinator, Fire Forward
Anne C. Mitchell, Communications Specialist
Di Fritz, Education Docent
