About this event:

Recent research reveals that mountain lion populations across the state are lower than previously believed. Learn how All Hands Ecology is committed to helping to change that trajectory through our Living with Lions program. Hear how we use movement data, camera imagery, and quantitative science to better understand how mountain lions navigate our increasingly human-shaped landscape.

Join Trail Camera Project Manager Kate Remsen for a walk through stunning woodland habitat of Bouverie Preserve. Then join us indoors for a presentation from Quantitative Ecologist Scott Jennings on what the data is telling us about animal movement in our area.

Post-walk beverages and small bites provided.

Wear clothing, footwear, and sun protection appropriate for exploring on trails and varying weather conditions. The terrain is mostly flat with some uphill/downhill areas. Bring binoculars.
