Whether you’re a longtime nature lover or simply curious to see the preserve in its most vibrant season, this walk offers a chance to learn, connect, and experience spring in full expression.

Step into spring at Bouverie Preserve, where hillsides come alive with color and the landscape tells a story of deep biodiversity and seasonal change. This remarkable preserve is home to an extraordinary web of life — over 350 species of flowering plants, 130 species of birds, and an array of wildlife that includes bobcat, gray fox, coyote, mountain lion, and, on rare occasions, even black bear.

Join us for a 3-hour, docent-led nature walk through this 535-acre protected landscape. Traveling in small groups, we’ll wander through oak woodlands and lush riparian corridors, slowing down to notice spring blooms, listening for birdsong, and observing how plants and animals are interconnected in this place. Along the way, our knowledgeable guides will share insights into the ecology, natural history, and quiet wonders that make Bouverie Preserve unique.
