All Hands Ecology’s largest preserve is host to oak woodlands, pine forests, grasslands, chaparral, riparian forests, natural springs, streams and serpentine outcrops, creating a diverse and ever-shifting landscape.
Walk-and-talk as you hear from Preserve Manager & Resident Biologist Michelle Cooper and Land Steward Tomas Ruiz about the Modini family and others who have cared for this landscape. Learn about projects that are building resilience now and into the future.
Beverages and snacks provided. Wear clothing, footwear, and sun protection appropriate for outdoor exploring on trails, grass and rocks, and varying weather conditions. The trails are mostly uphill/downhill areas with some steep terrain and challenging areas.
