Shorebird ID workshop with Nils Warnock

November 1, 2025
- 10:30 am

As we gear up for another season of winter bird monitoring on Tomales Bay, we are excited to host a shorebird identification workshop for our community.  Please join us for a presentation by Conservation Science Director Nils Warnock, as he shares his extensive knowledge of shorebirds.

This will be an in-person event at Cypress Grove Preserve on Tomales Bay.  Attendance will be capped at 30 guests due to the limited capacity of the meeting room.  Everyone is welcome, but active bird monitoring volunteers will receive priority if we exceed capacity.  For those who can’t make it, we will record the talk and make it available to all on our Vimeo channel.  We apologize, but there will not be an option to attend via Zoom.

Where: Cypress Grove Preserve (map)

When: Saturday, November 1, 2025

Presentation in the Conly Center library begins at 11 a.m.  Guests are welcome to arrive starting at 10:30 am.  We will provide light refreshments.

After the presentation, guests are encouraged to stay and enjoy the preserve.  Please bring a picnic lunch if desired.  A bird walk will be offered after lunch.

If you can join us, please RSVP using this link.  This link will close on Monday, Oct 27.
