Youth volunteers must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is also registered.
🌱 What to Expect
- Off-trail work on uneven and sometimes steep terrain
- Tasks may include removing plants from soil, bending, and carrying heavy bags
- Up to 0.5 miles total hiking, on flat terrain
- Parking lot is about 250 yards from the meeting spot; from there, we may hike up to another 250 yards to the worksite
- Hazards may include ticks, poison oak, and stinging nettle
- Bathrooms are available at the meeting spot
